Need more donations? Let's fix that
BanktheFood app is available to any food poverty charity for free.
By using BanktheFood, you can share real-time updates listing the items you most urgently need. Your donors will receive alerts reminding them of what you need as they enter the supermarket. This means more timely, targeted donations.
As well as being able to regularly update your shopping list and donation points, the app allows you to see the donations you have waiting for you and where, as well as your total number of donations and followers.

Download the app
Get BanktheFood from the Google Play or App Store on a mobile device or visit here on a desktop and create an account via the three dots in the top-right corner.

Find your food bank
Many food banks are already listed on our app, thanks to data from Give Food. Simply click ‘My Food Bank’ and use the postcode finder to search for yours. If listed, tap ‘Request Admin Access’ and follow the steps to manage your profile.
For security, approvals may take a few days as we complete checks. To speed things up, use a registered organisation email address when registering for an account on the app.

Be a Tinfluencer campaign
#BeATinfluencer
We know you work hard to support those facing food insecurity, so we’ve launched a special campaign called 'Be a Tinfluencer' - using friendly food characters and memorable puns to raise awareness of the items you really need, encourage smart giving through the BanktheFood app, and empower donors to help in a way that makes the most impact.
But we can’t do it alone! We’d love you to get involved by sharing our Tinfluencer posts on your social media channels – you’ll can get Canva links by emailing here
With Canva, it’s easy to create a free account and super intuitive to use. If you get stuck, email us and our social media manager would be happy to help. If you’d like any customised graphics, captions, or advice, just let us know.
Don’t forget to include the hashtag #BeATinfluencer and tag @BanktheFood, encouraging your supporters to download the BanktheFood app so they can donate what’s truly needed.
